Week Three & Four

Well, we are finally getting to work on our team building skills a bit! This week, we did some different cup stacking challenges. The older grades had to move cups into a certain pattern with just string and a rubber band! This was tough because only the rubber band could touch/move the cups; students had to learn to work together to move in unison. We will continue this into Week Four because students want more time to finish the four challenges. The last challenge is a silent one, so hopefully they will work together well enough to conquer it! :)

The younger grades did a different cup stacking challenge. We did some stacking races and creative builds, and by the end of class, they were making towers together as a table! They could only place one cup at a time, go around in a circle so everyone gets an equal opportunity, and they couldn't plan what they were building. It was fun to see their little minds have to work with what they were given.
