Last week's lesson was based on my family's fall break trip to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Tetons National Park. Students in grades 1st - 5th created their own animal that would survive in either Yellowstone Lake or the Norris Geyser Basin. They came up with some pretty cool creatures! They also enjoyed sharing their animals with their classmates.

Kindergarten compared their feet and hands to bear and wolf paws, which was fun! And they got to "act like a moose" with a fun GoNoodle!
